This exhibition aims to foster deeper connections with the soil and celebrate traditions of seasonality and reciprocity. Maris and Mallow's sculptures consider how symbols are created, charged with meaning and circulated across times and cultures. ‘DIG IN’ provides a multi-dimensional exploration of sustainable practices, cycles, land, sisterhood, interspecies kinship and our connection to the food we eat.
Dinner will be served on Maisie Maris' sculpture on Saturday 28 October cooked by Sam Riches (and friends) from the Woodmansterne School Kitchen with contributions such as readings and music from Anthony Baussy, Phoebe Coco, Tyler Eash, Dot Jia, Laura Plant and Melanie Schneider.
Exhibiting artists: Maisie Maris, Laura Mallows, Mariana Lemos, Woodmansterne School Kitchen, Anthony Baussy, Phoebe Coco, Tyler Eash, Dot Jia, Laura Plant and Melanie Schneider.

Dig In Dinner | gathering
Looking at ancient knowledge, folk tales and indigenous methods of growing, the duo exhibition sets the table for a dinner celebrating the harvest. ‘DIG IN’ aims to foster deeper connections with the soil and celebrate traditions of seasonality and reciprocity.
Cooked by Sam Riches from the Woodmansterne School Kitchen, each dish brings a layer of thought to dig into and nourish ourselves, both physically and spiritually, through shared food and community. Together with guests and contributors, we are invited to reconsider our relationship with food and its rituals. ‘DIG IN’ provides a multi-dimensional exploration of sustainable practices, cycles, land, sisterhood, interspecies kinship and our connection to the food we eat.
