لملمة; Gathering

Opening Thursday 5 March | 7-9pm

6 - 8 March 2026

Fri - Sun | 10-6pm

Staffordshire St presents لملمة; Gathering an exhibition threading together shared Palestinian identities through textile work – showcasing installations by Palestinian artist Areen Hassan and London-based Tatreez Collective

The concept of لملمة (v. lamlameh), proposed by Professor Abeer R. Musleh, is a process of lifting fallen pieces, gathering and weaving together.

Within the exhibition, the works of Hassan and Tatreez Collective do just this – welcoming a choir of woven voices into the space as global tales of so many displaced Palestinian people are stitched into the fabric of each artwork.

Every fibre connected in these beautifully crafted textiles becomes a powerful representation of the deep, ever-burning endurance of the Palestinian people.

Walk amongst these voices, give time and visibility to each story, and witness the collective action of لملمة; Gathering.
