ABOUT
Staffordshire St is an independent, not-for-profit project space in Peckham, South East London. Championing emerging and under-represented artists, we produce exhibitions, collaborative projects and live events alongside a learning programme of talks, screenings and workshops. We also provide affordable studios for artists, makers and designers.
Staffordshire St is a Community Interest Company. We fundraise for our work through the kind support of individuals, sponsors & public funders.
Our building was originally designed as a Methodist Hall. In 2017 it was established as an art gallery, before then it was vacant for many years after a community centre closed. Staffordshire St builds on the established record of these histories, in 2022 we opened the doors again to the neighbourhood developing a welcoming interdisciplinary arts space.

Open Call
Each year we run an annual Open Call. We intend to make the project space accessible, exhibiting a wide variety of projects. We will be looking for submissions that put forward strong discursive concepts and demonstrate quality as well as capability to execute the proposal. We particularly welcome proposals from people from underrepresented or non-traditional art backgrounds so we can platform ideas from a range of voices.
Our 2025 Open Call is now live, closing 31 October 2024
